De-Pict Dunkeld
A downloadable game for Windows and Android

Platform: Android, PC Genre: Educational, Applied Games
Description
De-Pict Dunkeld is a game in which the player explores the picturesque town of Dunkeld through a series of dioramas that depict 1300 years of Scottish history. The player can travel between these different eras, explore and compare the locations as they change over time, & interact with multiple different points of interest in the environment. The experience is designed so that the player can learn historical facts about Dunkeld through gameplay interactions, as each mini-game and point of interest is themed around a different historical fact or finding. For instance, a mirror mould that was found during the Dunkeld hillfort excavation can be reassembled, which then provides the player with a fact about Pictish metalworking in Dunkeld.
De-Pict Dunkeld focuses on providing a fun interactable experience that aims to make learning about Dunkeld’s past as rewarding as possible for the player.
